Provides programmatic support for The National Family Development Credential® (FDC™) Program by administering webinars, workshops, conferences and events nationwide. Responsibility and/or program specialties include FDC class curriculum support of Empowerment Skills for Family Workers course and review of National FDC worker class portfolios reviews.


  • Serves as a resource to National network of Instructors relating to program curriculum activities, and program policies and procedures. 
  • Provides direct training and related support services, and follows up to resolve problems in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Compiles and maintains curriculum materials, program information and student portfolio results.
  • Collects and disseminates news about program policies.
  • Designs, schedules, and produces informational and program materials including related activities for trainings and events.
  • Performs class management duties including processing portfolios results for the credentialing process and communicating results to the program manager and FDC Instructor.
  • Compiles data of class portfolios received and reviewed including related results.
  • Performs related work as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Two to three years of related experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through both oral and written means
  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports
  • Previous experience in facilitating course work
  • Willing to travel out of state for 4-5 days, 3-4 times a year to provide National program trainings.


  • Master’s degree in Family Studies.
  • Knowledge of the Family Development Credential Program.
  • Earned the Family Development Credential.
  • Certified to teach Empowerment Skills for Family Worker curriculum. 
  • Three to five years of related experience in facilitating a program curriculum or providing trainings on a national level.


This is a part-time position consisting of 30 hours per week.
